Cologne and I have been friends since 2009. Enough years to learn that it’s okay to talk to anybody you like, to drink Kölsch with anybody you haven’t seen before and to sing songs about love, Cologne and “ruut and wieß”. Definitely totally different to my 20 years living in Berlin before. People who say Berlin is the one and only city in Germany should visit me in my hometown (and yes, it is home right now).
I will show you the typical friendly and open-minded atmosphere in Cologne, drink with you a “small glass of beer” and you will understand why I will never ever leave this wonderful Cologne.
