Our neighbourhood tours through Cologne

Although our Cathedral is the heart of the city, it is in the neighbourhoods (or as we call them: Veedel), where you can find the real Cologne feeling. Join our tours and find the authentic treasures of Köln. Get your city sightseeing away from the touristy areas.

Bookings & Languages

These are free walking tours! Therefore, the booking is free of charge and available until two hours before the tour starts. Currently, we offer all of them in German – if you’d like to book a private tour in another language, please send us a request and we will see what we can do.

Six Neighbourhoods

…with very different stories. Dive deep into Cologne’s local life and explore the districts on our walking tours: Ehrenfeld, Belgisches Viertel, Südstadt, Nippes and Agnesviertel. All district tours can also be booked as a private tour throughout the year. Find some impressions of our neighbourhood tours on Instagram or share your own! #veedeltour

City Sightseeing

…away from the city centre. We love our cathedral but Cologne life happens in our neighbourhoods which have gone through many changes throughout the years. Meet the local kiosk owner, spot historical sights in the streets and understand what’s on the neighbourhoods’ mind today. This is our way of city sightseeing.
