Wilhelm

I love Cologne because of the relaxed let’s-have-a-coffee-on-a-friday-morning atmosphere.

Your freewalk Cologne guide Wilhelm

My name is Wilhelm. I live in Cologne since 2014. Back then, I moved here to study Social Sciences. Coming from a small German town called “Warstein”, it was overwhelming for me to experience such a big and open-minded city. Since then, aware of its cliché-like wording, Cologne has changed my outlook on the world. As the famous saying goes, I travelled the world before I recognised how much I feel home in Cologne.

I lived in Canada’s West and Riga, Latvia’s capital, where I attended thrilling city tours. The tour guides who were genuinely in love with their home towns fascinated me. When I came back to Cologne, I decided to become an advocate of the German atypical and lovely city of Cologne – my chosen home.

In my free time, I like to sketch, act in a theatre group, watch historical documentaries, and play football. Besides, I like to meet new people from different parts of the world. As I’ve travelled a lot, I seek other travellers and the cross-border exchange of minds. I feel like it is a way to stay in touch with the world, though you remain at one place.

I would like you to help me with that – in exchange, I’ll be happy to show you our candid and charming Cologne

Have you already joined my tour? Amazing! To support me, I appreciate it if you leave a review on TripAdvisor or Google. Thank you!
