I love Cologne because of its unique people, culture, humor and Jeföhl.

I grew up in the german countryside with Cologne always being close-by and far away at the same time. Growing up I already tried to visit the city as much as I could so for me it was very obvious that this would be my chosen home one day, which became reality in 2015.

I travelled to more than 60 countries in my life already, but never felt as home anywhere as I do in Cologne. Yet it’s so hard to describe why this is, rationally, because even though the city isn’t ugly, it’s not one of the most beautiful cities you’ll ever see. Apart from its architectural flaws, you find everything you need in this vibrant city: It’s a metropolis but feels like a village, when you’re in the central areas you can reach everything by walking, you have all the privileges of living in Germany while having the most fun and open people you can find in Germany around you, and Karneval!

When I’m your guide I’ll try to give you an idea about why everyone living here is so patriotic and proud about our city, why we have more than 300 songs about Cologne (which we will sind proudly and loud) and which is my favourite Kölsch beer (of all the different kinds we have).

Have you already joined my tour? Great! To support me, I’d appreciate if can you leave me a review on TripAdvisor or Google. Thank you!
