My name is Vicky, I moved to Cologne in 2009 and immediately fell in love with this amazing city! My heart beats for both my Franconian hometown and what I consider to be the best city in Germany: Cologne! What immediately drew me in was the outgoing and open-minded Colognian personality.
As a tour guide for Freewalk Cologne, I’d like to share my fascination for this city. My approach is not to give you dry facts and numbers, but to mix fun facts and stories with the occasional historical dates – and believe me, Cologne’s history offers lots of fun facts and stories. Since I wasn’t born and raised in Cologne, I like to share my experiences as an “Immi” – that is Colognian slang for everyone who wasn’t born here. 🙂
