I’m Alina, a true Kölsch girl: born in Cologne. And like all true locals, there’s nothing we love more than our city — and all we really want is to show everyone just how beautiful it is. 🙂

So my mission is to convince you that there’s nothing better than walking into the city over the Deutz Bridge, taking in the view of the Kranhäuser and the majestic Cathedral… or strolling through your favorite Veedel (neighborhood) on a sunny day… or listening to the old folks chatting in their real, heartfelt Kölsch dialect while you grab fresh bread from the bakery in the morning.

I want every one of my guests to understand that Cologne is not just a place — it’s a feeling. And you simply can’t explain why, during Carnival, we all tear up as we stand arm in arm, singing En unserm Veedel by the Bläck Fööss.
